Honeybee was originally just Melissa Geary, her guitar, and organ, named Teenie Genie. It now includes her best friends on a variety of instruments, including accordion and ukulele! They are in the process of recording their debut album, although you can now purchase a copy of Melissa’s original demos, entitled “Quilt.”

Last spring, while watching “the Jerk” for the first time in three or four years, I realized that the beach scene is one of the most romantic moments of film history. I became obsessed with the song and downloaded every version I could find, but none of them lived up to the Steve Martin and Bernadette Peters version.
